About Neurone

A Danish health technology company with a simple conviction: data from the patient’s everyday life should be easier to register — and easier to use.

Our mission

We make everyday data usable

Neurone is a Danish health technology company working to build the infrastructure for patient-generated neurological data. We develop solutions that make it easier for patients and relatives to register important observations from everyday life and make them more usable in the dialogue with healthcare professionals.

The patient’s everyday life is often invisible in the consultation

Much information about seizures, development and observations arises between consultations. Today this information is often recorded in paper forms, phone notes, memory or inconsistent digital tools. That makes it difficult to create a fast and accurate overview of the patient’s journey.

Founder story

Built from real experience

The idea for Epilink comes from our founder’s own experience with an epilepsy diagnosis — and the realisation that patient monitoring is still often unnecessarily analogue, fragmented and dependent on memory. Neurone was created to build the digital solutions that were missing in the meeting between the patient’s everyday life and the healthcare system’s need for structured data.

The team

The team behind

Neurone is run by a small team sharing the same ambition: making patient-generated neurological data easier to register — and easier to use.

Vision

Infrastructure for patient-generated neurological data

Our ambition is to develop a digital infrastructure where patient-generated neurological data can be collected, structured and used across disease areas, products and clinical workflows. Epilink is the first step.

Digital seizure registration as the first step

Epilink focuses on structuring patient-reported seizure data. The goal is to create a more consistent and usable data foundation that can, over time, support better dialogue, clinical overviews and future integration possibilities.

Vision

The road ahead

Epilink starts with digital seizure registration. From there we gradually expand towards a broader infrastructure for patient-generated neurological data.

Now

Digital seizure diary

Seizure registration, overview in graph and list, and PDF export.

Next

Better sharing and overview

Improved export and clinical overviews that make data easier to use in dialogue.

Later

Integration with medical record systems

Direct integration so patient-generated data can feed into clinical workflows.

Want to collaborate on patient-generated neurological data?

We are happy to collaborate with clinicians, hospitals, patient organisations, partners and investors who share the ambition of making neurological patient data more structured and usable.
