Privacy policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026. This privacy policy describes how Neurone processes personal data in connection with the operation of the website neurone.dk, cf. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the General Data Protection Regulation) and the Danish Data Protection Act. The Epilink application is covered by a separate privacy policy, available in the application and in the respective app stores.
1. Data controller
Neurone is the data controller for the processing of personal data on neurone.dk. Enquiries regarding the processing may be directed in writing to jakob@neurone.dk.
2. Processing activities, purposes and legal basis
When the website's contact form is used, the information provided by the data subject is processed: name, email address, organisation (if any), subject and the contents of the message. The purpose is to respond to and administer the enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (the controller's legitimate interest in responding to enquiries received). When signing up for updates about Epilink, the data subject's email address is processed for the purpose of sending notifications about the development of the product. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (consent). Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, cf. section 5.
3. Visiting the website
No personal data is collected during ordinary visits to the website. No cookies, tracking technologies or analytics tools are used in relation to visitors, cf. the cookie policy in force at any given time.
4. Storage, processors and disclosure
The information is stored on the controller's own infrastructure with the hosting provider Hetzner within the European Union. No other processors are used, and the information is not disclosed to third parties. No transfers take place to third countries outside the EU/EEA. Information from enquiries is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose, after which it is deleted. Information relating to signups for updates is retained until consent is withdrawn.
5. Rights of the data subject
Pursuant to Chapter III of the General Data Protection Regulation, the data subject has the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to the processing. Requests should be directed to jakob@neurone.dk and will be accommodated without undue delay. The data subject may furthermore lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, DK-2500 Valby, www.datatilsynet.dk.
6. Amendments
This policy is updated in the event of changes to the processing activities. The current version is available on this page at all times.
